Cheese and crackers…the food lovers duo that has stood the test of time. This delicious duo is now available solo…with Kitchen Table Bakers Parmesan Crisps. They are gluten, flour and sugar free and come in eight delicious varieties, providing endless ways to serve them.
I first encountered these delicious tangy cheese crisps at the Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease gluten free vendor fair back in October. I have been enjoying them ever since in a variety ways:
- as a tangy, flavor-filled cracker on its own or as a vehicle for spreads and dips (I love them with my Pea Shoot Pesto - the earthy flavor of the pesto and tanginess of the parmesan crisp go well together)
- as a tortilla chip for nachos (jalapeño variety)…no shredded cheese necessary
- as a crunchy topping or side to salads and soups
- paired with wine and fruit for a picnic…no cooler needed
A satisfying serving of three crisps is just 80-90 calories and packs a serious punch of flavor. Making it, in my opinion, a more calorie-conscious way to enjoy cheese. Three crisps also contain just 6 grams of fat and a whopping 6 grams of protein and 20% of the Daily Value for calcium.
I’d like to share this delicious food find with you via a contest.
